Both the Qu'ran and the New Testament have similar meanings. They both basically tell us how to live our live in order to obtain salvation. The difference is who they are getting salvation from. The Qu'ran says we get it from Muhammad, but the New Testament says we get it from Jesus. Also in both texts Jesus appears. Obviously the New Testament Jesus is the main character, but in the Qu'ran Jesus is a lower prophet made by Muhammad.
I agree that these are the basic beliefs and aspects of the two religious texts, however these are just facts that are obvious to those who have or have not read either texts. Although Jesus is just a prophet in the Quran, he is also known as a caregiver, healer and miracle performer during his life, as also known in the New Testament, but fails to recognize the Christian belief of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus that is described in the New Testament.
ReplyDeleteThere are several similarities and differences in both the Qur'an and the Bible. You stated great facts of each subject. The Qur'an and the Bible are collections of text that inspire several people to become a better person.
ReplyDeleteAwesome job on the post man. you did a great job of outlining the differences between the two versions of Jesus. Also, that visual is top notch. Overall, good work
